ok, the Istana onthespot art competition was a total blowout and disappointment to me. first. we dint know we had to come in by the side gate -wherever the side gate was- because we had registered under the cc, and to get freebies we had to get the drawing block with the red stamp. but we entered from the main gate, just like any other respectable citizen of the public, and we had to register at the gate again because we weren't informed. then we spent like 15min looking for the stupid booth to get the drawing block for pre-registered people so we could get freebies from macs. second. nobody told us we could start early. so we were rushing for time and practically screaming -me and angeline- and going OMG I'M NOT GOING TO FINISH I HAVEN'T EVEN STARTED COLORING. what the hell can you do with 2 hours? plus there was no proper tables and chairs to do stuff -this is ART, damnit. third. no one won 1st prize in our category, which was ages 9-16. supposedly there wasnt any good enuf to make it. oh, and we got thrashed by a couple of juniors. like, not even a single merit award?! a total slap in our faces. and there were NAFA people there as well, so they clinched like half the prizes. DAMN. |
