ok, i haven't blogged since.. ohmypox, the last post was dated 26th nov, which means.. this post is almost 1 month away! *big gasp* all right, shall try to squish everything in 1 post and prays blogger doesn't auto-refresh. 161206 THE BIG DAY: ME + FINCHAN'S COSPLAY DEBÚT! it was pretty exciting and hectic in the beginning, because she came over at like 7am in the morn and we dragged our wigs to the salon downstairs [i am eternally grateful to the auntie for opening the salon specially for us at 7am] to style em. it dint turn out quite like the original, but hey, no complaints here. and then, we hailed a cab and lugged us in our costumes down to expo, which was so embarrassing and nerve-wrecking because just imagine, there was some christian concert starting the same time we arrived there, and half the class was [supposed to be] there with miss yeo, so if we ran into them.. oh, the horror. but there wasn't anyone we recognized [thank god], just some people gawking as they lined up for some nike sale. but it was still embarrassing, because we had to walk a good estimated 800m to the hall, in wigs and costume and all. *hides face* ergh, i'm tired of writing. -TO BE CONTINUED WHEN I AM RESTED- -EDITED- Right, where was i? anyway, Resolutions@EXPO 06 wasn't that bad for a first time, but i was a lil disappointed at the end because a) i couldn't break even for the booth sales i think. i shall have to work harder next year to produce more fantasmorgriffic fanart to get sold out like FFG's. :/ b) my wig was keenda screwed [too long, etc] so i looked really awful in the forum posted photos. *hides face* but all in all, it wasn't a bad time. i had fun -most of the time- but i think i keenda neglected Finchan albeit, because i kept sticking to the manga batch. shall hafta work at my thoughtlessness. :/ |
