this is a long post.. yesterday i popped over to JJC to be extra and see how Finny was doing [you know how weird she can be, i was kinda worried she'd be like all alone :/] and miracles of miracles, she actually had made friends. although the ones i saw were both members of the opposite gender, well, that's beside the point. point is, now i can feel a bit more relieved knowing that she seems to be settling down fine. one of her friends called xing woo or other apparently is from RVPS *shock* but i have no recollection of him and he certainly doesn't remember me either. i asked Terrance about it, but he had no clue either. hmm.. maybe we existed in different social circles. that's like DUH. finally saw Dinky today after a tedious hour-long bus journey [someone slap me next time if i ever decide to ride 174 from JJC to Orchard], and on the way, it was kinda awkward for me, because Finny and her 2 friends were from JJC, and i wasn't, and i didn't talk much because i felt damn extra. *sigh* it could have been easy to crap around, but for some reason i clammed up.. never mind, i shan't angst. and like ZOMG, Dinky was working in Toast Box! not a bad place i guess, but it was kinda funny to see her in her workclothes. *stifles grin* and Char! in her cleaner-ish CJC uniform! all JC uniforms look the same to me, mebbe different colors is all. haha! we went out again today, because Dinky had an offday, and we just wanted to hang for a bit and reminisce. of course, Finny din't turn up. [why "of course"? big DUH. not that i'm particularly pissed off or anything, just a twinge of annoyance and resignment. oh and add a good unhealthful dosage of disappointment.] so me and Dinky just lingered and loitered around Orchard til Char ended school, and we hopped to Far East for a bit. i ended up spending all my moolah *wails* and Char bought a piece of paper worth $5. XD oh and i finally found Haru! i must have been blind to miss it though. mebbe because the sign was in Japanese? XD excuses. oh oh oh oh did i mention Dinky and I ended up binging on that überdelicious warm chocolate cake from Starbucks again? *melts* it's heaven all over again.. and we just sat there, the three of us [NOT FOUR] and reminisced and wasted space and talked and chattered and saw Cinderella the new edition playing in Gramaphone. it was absolutely loverly catching up, and browsing through memories [although some unpleasant], and we should definitely do this often. VERY OFTEN. PREFERABLY WITH MORE PEOPLE LIKE SEVEN. i've been emailing Pris back and forth recently, BIG NEWS: [i could barely keep this to myself but i shall, and only post the vague contents of the email exchange here] Pris is coming back.. FOR GOOD. *jumps up and down and screams* although i don't know how long it'll be til she gets back [FOR GOOD] because she's yet to find a place in a school *stabs principals who refuses to give her entry*, but who cares? she's coming back! [FOR GOOD] have i mentioned she's coming back? [FOR GOOD] oh and i've finished OKAMI, that PS2 game i was so obssessed with. now i'm wandering around my house like a ghost because my life feels empty. then again, i have no life. *sigh* |
