*phew* it's hard being a mediator. *wipes the day started with me waking up at 1130. D: [ZOMG I'M SUCH A PIG. PEEG] it was going to be another slow-moving day.. or so i thought. Da went to pick Bakabee, but later called me to sms her because she hadn't shown up and he'd ben waiting in the school foyer for her. [this was the first warning sign.] after that, i heard keys at the door. [second warning sign] they sounded like Bakabee's, so i was thinking, 'zomp, what if she'd went home without knowing that Da was gonnya be picking her up?' i got up out of my comfort zone in front of the com screen, then i heard Da's voice and relaxed slightly. mistake here. the warning bells began to scream when i realized that Da was in one of his moods again. "IF YOU SAY THAT YOU WANT TO LEAVE THIS FAMILY, THEN GET OUT NOW!" *sigh* it was another Apocalyptic Aftermath scenario, similar to the incident a couple months back. i think i'd blogged about that one too, so i guess you can imagine. as usual, Bakabee was using her mouth without thinking. i swear, that girl could trigger a rain of nuclear atomic bombs with her words. anyways, yeah, so it was her phone which triggered it as usual. if i hadn't mentioned it, she lost her barely-month-old Sony Ericsson Z610i, and was stuck with my old Nokia 6230. of course, discontentment set in, and after a month she was whining -on the verge of demanding- for a new phone. and of course, that phone she'd set her eyes on was definitely more more expensive. and of course, Da's response was "if you show improvement". whee. of course, she wasn't satisfied with that. Aunt R was gonnya pass on her Sony Ericsson phone to her a couple days back after hearing that Bakabee needed a phone. and of course, Bakabee being her usual spoilt insensible self, didn't like hand-me-downs, and i don't exactly know what she said, but from what i heard from Da it was something along the lines of Aunt R giving her that phone because it was lousy and she didn't want it. a bit insulting i guess, to jump to conclusions like that. both sides exchanged fire until my Da erupted with her lines of "you people are bias and i wanna leave blah blah nya nya". why is it always me who has to go pick up the pieces and fit 'em all together again? *sigh* i wonder why Bakabee cannot see the way everybody else does. why does she always think the world's against her? why is she so blind to all the things that are given to her, and always look to the other side, where "the grass is greener"? i suppose it's human nature to envy, but not to that extent! i really hope that she will be able to see what she has.. before she loses everything. anyways, long story short, as usual, i talked to Da, then i talked to Bakabee, and i persuaded the latter to go apologize and stuff. after all, the largest thing in this world is prolly a parent's forgiveness. no matter what stupid things you do, no matter what stupid things you say, they will still always love you and hug you back in the end. i sound mushy. |
the round one.
Just your average human specimen wanting to be something more. Also has an absurd fondness for potatoes and shoes, among other things.
