went out with Issac today to watch Pathfinder, also because he's one of the rare species left that i know who's attending poly. :/ first things first: ZOMP now i know why Pathfinder is rated NC-16. it is distastefully goryish. heads getting lopped off, arrows whizzing through the air, through eyeballs, through heads, people getting ripped into four directions.. etc. exactly what you would expect from barbaric Vikings when they come across peaceful Noth Indian Americans. *rolls eyes* it was pathetically cruel, the way they spotted their first victim, who was a little girl. she was screaming her head off and stupidly leading them straight to the village, where they completely ran the place over like tanks rolling over ants. [oh yeah, Issac wants to be an ant. he was totally going on randomly about how the ants in their own little world attend ant polys and ant vcomm courses and draw on their walls.. ???? i seriously don't know what's going on in his head.] i think the main character -the oh-so-heroic figure who oh-so-happened to be away when the village got slaughtered- was Eomer from LOTR. can't be sure. everyone looks the same with their charcoal-smudged faces. XD blah blah blah, vengeance for his massacred family, hero hunts the Vikings down and pushes them off a mountain with em all trussed together like turkeys for the pot. oh and did i mention he actually survives this massive avalanche? and they never seem to die of hypothermia even after falling through ice into water in the middle of winter. after reading my opinion of Pathfinder above, i find it dripping with sarcasm for some reason. oh well. Pathfinder was totally not what i'd expected, but it's ok for gory and glory i guess. thank god i didn't watch 300. after that, we just loitered around, fattened ourselves at macs, loitered some more, got a 2-month-belated present for Shuyi, drowned ourselves in supposedly horrid mocha at Spinelli, and then we parted ways. oh did i mention i sold Vampire Knight to some person called Manny -emmanuel_1v23 was his nick online- for $5 for 2 books? Yesh, i know i'm totally ripping myself off. heck. can you believe that i thought it was a girl?! no, i can see that you don't. it was totally obvious from his nick, but i dint realize. how blind am i? very. it wasn't til i called and a relatively deep voice answered that i saw the light. and then i started freaking. honestly, what kind of guy buys Vampire Knight? i got an even bigger shock when i saw who it was. it was that Kira cosplayer from EOY'06! *freaks out* no, not that he was particularly hot or anything, just that he seemed to know Finny from Maple and that he wasn't exactly quite what i'd expected. so i walked up, and when he spoke i had to struggle to keep a straight face. not that he was funny or anything, but it was just that -zomp please i'm not being evil- he sounded really gay. GAYGAYGAYGAY. and even Issac agreed! i'm just trying to be honest -pure and honest we all are aren't we? HAH- so yeah, there goes my friday. oh freak i just remembered i haven't done my homework for tomorrow's class. damn. *sigh* for some reason, i keep meeting weird people. :/ and i'm the weirdest of em all.. |
