*phew* i'm kinda bushed from all the lugging around of my a3 sketchbook slash cartridge paper.. yeah, Coconut had to meet up today -our first OG outing, fancy that!- to buy art supplies from Artfriend, because our to-be drawing teacher decreed so. *sigh* everyone trooped in, swooped on the graphite pencils, so there were none left for the taking. not that it doesn't matter to me anyways, i can always come back anytime. HAH that's one of the pros of living so near town. :D so i went into Artfriend emptyhanded, and came out nearly emptyhanded. just bought a kneadable eraser, because the Rotling eraser whatsitcalled was out of stock. or something. the charcoal was also not neccessary and apparently a waste of moolah, according to our well-informed seniors who tagalonged and who got cheated when they were freshmen. oh well. lalalala~ at least Popular was wellstocked enough, so that everyone was able to get a cartridge paper pad and an a3 sketchbook. oh yeah we went to compare prices of the a2 folio carriers, and the Popular ones were going for like 29.90, while the so-called cheapest one from Artfriend was bloody 54.60. see the damn difference? i do. we got our stuff, and then went to BK for lunch. gawd i can just feel all the cellulite now. i've been eating junk food for like almost every day, i NEED TO STOP.the guys were pretty funny during lunch, and here's 5 things i found out today: -Sam is a notorious camwhore in all the group. well at least among the guys he was the only one not camera-shy. -Diane must have had arcade training daily, because she trashed Shuiran in one of those fighting games. -i learnt how to play pool! it's kinda fun. -Fidelis works at Raffles City Tower doing data-entry for $6/hour. haha -Shuiran can play Parapara! we were all laughing our guts out when he started flinging his arms and stuff. XD i think we seriously need to spend more time together. this time Coconut had to take like about an hour to warm up to each other, which i guess isn't halfbad but not good enough. >: it's kinda hard to start talking, especially when we all have almost nothing in common save being in the same class, but as they say, a stranger is a friend you haven't met yet. after that, Pris came out after tuition to join me for dinnah and stuff, i feel kinda bad for dragging her out the day before her entrance exam thing which could land her in SAJC, but oh well. ehehe. we spent the evening just strolling around Marina Square, looking for her black flats and me looking for nice bags. yesh, i need a godamn bag for school. you can never have too many bags. or shoes. or clothes. XD in the end we found neither, but she got her black shorts and i got some accessories! yay pretty shinys. :D i really love my Mom for giving me moolah to shop. oh and PMK is having a sale! i'm wondering if i should splurge there.. XD |
