oh yeah, i forgot to mention, COCONUT was at Club Crawl a few days back, and like ZOKM, i got pulled by Diane into .. .. DANCE. D: yeah, i know, those people who've known me for the past years would hav been thinking something like "omfgwthbbq??!!" ahaha but HEY, i don't plan to go for the audition anyways, so i guess me and weiliang are out? XD 'sides, Diane and Shuiran should have NO problems whatsoever owning the audition.. let's face it, in this world, there're people with the rythm in their bodies and there're people who have like three left feet. of course, i would fit in the latter category. ;D oh i just remembered that absolutely hilarious incident in DFD class. that Edwin Ng person didn't turn up [revenge for us boycotting his class?] so we basically wasted 3 hours waiting for him. T_T but it was fun, because we were fooling around in the lab and we watched as Sam used Diane's MSN to PUNK'D Han Wee!! trying to seduce/flirt with him, attempting to get him to come to Changi ["where are you now?" "i'm in Changi.. rowing a boat.. in the middle of the sea.." and how the hell do you type while rowing a boat? and how the hell do you get wireless connection at sea??! XD] it was freaking bloody hilarious! on to today; as usual, poxyclass from 2-4, and then the "awesome foursome" [XD wth? that refers to me x angeline x mel x darren but wth?!] trooped down to Esplanade to check out our canvas pieces. i mean, we've spent like 2 months worth of wednesday x saturday evenings/nights painting like crap on canvas, we at least deserve the chance to get a blank wall and a spotlight in Esplanade. XD plus, i could kill two birds with a rock and get the chance to see that fabbish looking Clockwork exhibit where all the pieces are drawn with a single line. joy. *sigh* in the end, i ended up treating everyone to Häagen Daz cones. zokm, they raised the prices! back then it was $4.50, now it's $4.70!! XD $0.20 is SUCH a big difference huh.. and toppings were like $1. ahaha!! so yeah, i'm like dead broke now, anyone voluntarily wants to be robbed? XD oh and of course, i saw the Clockwork exhibits, they were right at the entrance, couldn't be missed, not to mention they were huge. quite impressive, to count that they were all done in a single line. :D anyways, i took some shots, sadly none of the Clockwork pieces, but of the Manga Expressions Personae. [i wonder if anyone can tell which one is mine.. ohoho.]        dropped down to Vivo after that to meet Mom and Bakabee for some shopping therapy. [for some reason, whenever Da's overseas, we like to go for shopping therapy and rack up credit card statements XD] Vivo was surprisingly packed, or mebbe it was just me? because whenever i went it was usually during the weekdays when there was hardly anybody, so oh well. i suspect that from now on i shall be going shopping pretty often. ohoho. oh and i finally had time to walk into River Island and i saw the most fabby shoes ever. they were all canvas -imma sucker for canvas shoot me please- although quote finny "ripoff" because the cheapest was like $53, and the only other price tag was $105. XD a hole in both my wallet and my heart. since i couldn't get em, the next best thing was to shoot em. XD in secret, of course.    aren't they to die for??!! *pokes mushrooms in a cupboard sulkily* the 105 one was by a brand called Rocket Dogs; it seems like the more obscure a brand is, the more expensive it is. or something. ARGH I CAN'T STAND IT. i shall go and paint some more shoes and build RNX with Finny! anyways, shopped til we didn't drop, sadly, but we did rack up statements over $400. my mother was wailing. XD but hey, she got 2 pairs of Charles&Keith heels! got back at like 11pm, thank goodness Vivo's only a station away. oh and did i mention i finally got an Intuos3 [a4] ?! i'm really happy and really disgusted with myself at the same time, because i got an Intuos3 by leeching off my parents again, and i submitted a sloppy crap of a work for the WACOM contest. *pokes and pokes mushrooms viciously in a cupboard* |
