imagine this: 1am in the morning, and you're almost drifting off to sleep.. when suddenly, a loud banshee wail jolts you awake. you face the window blearily, where that inhuman-sounding scream had come from. sadly, you're on the 3rd floor and can't see a damn thing, but you can hear it loud and clear. some blasted idiot with a thick accent muttering to himself like a deranged drunk, and then suddenly emitting loud high-pitched shrieks for no apparent reason. you roll over and groan inwardly, although you're slightly curious as to who on earth is making the din, but a paranoid thought enters, that perhaps the person in question could be psychotic and homicidal. you listen to the moaning and shrieking for about ten minutes, wishing that someone would shut him up, and a couple enters the picture. the male asks "what's your problem?" and apparently the psychotic and possibly homicidal drunk wanders to him and starts mumbling about blogs. "no no no no" erupts from the man even as his female partner exclaims "so noisy la!" to which the man replies "call police call police". you aren't sure if the woman really did dial, but you're slightly interested. sitting up in the dark, you listen intently at the window as the man apparently tries to reason/counsel the psychotic and possibly homicidal drunk, even as the latter babbles uncomprehendingly. you aren't certain if the police did come, because there were no sirens, but shortly, the couple apparently leads the psychotic and possibly homicidal drunk away. after a few minutes of silence and fading footsteps, you hear the psychotic and possibly homicidal drunk's screams and wails again in the distance, which also fade away. it is now 2am and you can finally get a decent night's sleep. or not.. so dumb right? happened to yours truly. ARGH. why do weird things happen to me? because imma QUEEN OF WEIRDOS. [but i think queen sounds old..] |
