tell me, how can one be super high and super pissed off at the same time? let's start with the highness. have you ever gotten that feeling of wonder, of nolstagia, of overwhelming joy, of simply a feeling that everything was so simply beautiful in the world? i had it last friday. it was on the NSL, somewhere between the Kranji/Khatib stations, i think there was a stretch of almost wildlike greenery, untouched by modern mechanics. but it wasn't the lush path of wilderness i was interested in, no. i was lost in my thoughts as usual [some people call it stoning XD], when i happened to look up just as the train emerged from the shadows of some random industrial estate. the sky hit my eyes, and the clouds erupted. i was entranced, unable to tear my eyes away from the clouds billowing and hovering in the distance. not a patch of blue, not a single gray, it was just white silhouettes dancing with the sunlight. i could see mountains, castles, a little girl chasing her sheep, mermaids tossing their hair, palaces with a hundred windows, .. nothing existed within that exquisite moment. it was just me, the sky, and the silent rumbling of the almost-empty train. i stared my fill, and yet it was not enough. hungrily absorbing, trying to fix the memory of what i saw forever, quite forgetting that i had a camera in my bag, had i but been able to reach in and grasp it. no pictures, no photographs can ever quite capture that feeling, i suppose. but the train sped into darkness of a tunnel, and the fascinating moment was lost within the roar as the carriages rushed past the wind. am i hallucinating a bit too much? oh well. oh yeah, PLAY! -a video game symphony- was "f-ing awesome"in the words of Victoria. i couldn't say less. it was an absolutely brilliant performance, although i'm no expert. i was completely riveted when the orchestra played One-Winged Angel. and oh my gosh i managed to see Nobuo Uematsu! not in person of course, but hell. the man's a genius. oh yeah, had my fill of beginner's luck today at lunch, when i played Taiti with Clarence, Sam, Alvin and Audrey. [XD] ohohohoho. i'm getting addicted! and now, the ghastly horrifying things that completely threw me off. who on earth pays $400 for a bloody CD containing over 60 photographs? so what if the photos were from the family shoot? so what if the shoot was held on vacation and we couldn't specially fly all the way there to choose the 14 shots for the damn album? you could at least USE YOUR EYES and pick em! or let them pick! i'm sure they wouldn't want their studio's rep to be tarnished if they picked horrid ones! and even if you were rushing for time, the photos weren't! what's the GAWDDAMN BIG DEAL?! if you don't feel the pinch, I DO! and it's not even my money! gawd damn it, THINK. and i heard you were kicking up a big fuss like you usually do because of their [too slow for you] process in burning the photos. LIKE, HELLO? what, do you think these photos are VGA? getting shot in a studio means highquality shots! meaning, not your damn average digicam max. filesize!! get that in your head! do you think burning is a 3-second process? with that bloody attitude of yours it's amazing you don't get targetted for mugging!! *takes a deep breath, lets it out* ok, i'm cool. i'm cool. stay cool. be cool. |
the round one.
Just your average human specimen wanting to be something more. Also has an absurd fondness for potatoes and shoes, among other things.
