my first time having a 24-hour ton with no sleep, and it had to be on the first day of the Hungry Ghost Fest. D: i must have been mental to agree to stay out, but what's done is done, so.. yeeah. it was pretty fun though, but it got a little monotonous after a while. traversing the streets in the dead of the night is kinda exhilirating, but also tiring. and stinky. but ah well. the scariest part was having to cross Fort Canning Park at 2am in the morning and it was almost pitch black. ok, i'm exaggerating, it wasn't that bad, but STILL. i saw .. stuff too, that i think i shall best pretend were hallucinations from sleep deprivation. yeeah. of course, the folks back home weren't all that pleased that i came home at like 9am and promptly dropped dead like a pig for slaughter, random stuff about health and appetite popped up, but i was too tired to care. and to top it all off, i woke up at like almost 1pm and realized i was supposed to be in school an hour ago, but thank gawd, that miss nop somebody whoever just exited stage right after telling Clare and Es what to bring for the next week. so i shall now proceed to drop like a stone on my very inviting looking bed. |
