one. woke up late, skipped lunch and tried to churn out something for typo. two. walked back home twice because i forgot stuff and had to go back for em. three. reached school to find out that there was both typo and storyboarding. four. realized that i'd left my thumbdrive containing everything important at the print shop. horrid horrid day. fullstop. on the other hand, there's TFA to look forward to. *sniggers*

managed to finish most of everything, so the weekend felt pretty slackish. *grin grin* went out for some fun on Friday, heck that it's Open House. not like i'm involved anyways. staying in school feels like staying in a zoo enclosure, what with all the people gawking. [it's been so long since i last saw you girl! i'm glad i got to on Friday.. we HAVE to make this a regular thing. :D take care and all the best for your 'A's alright?] and then it was Saturday, time for Poxclass and boardpainting. whee. i'll post up photos of the boards on the other side when it's done. i think Zakary's board wins Cutest award, hands down. ohkay, this is it. i have to focus. focus focus focus focus hocus pocus. in this lifetime, no matter how many people we meet, the awful truth is that when we're with our thoughts, we're truly.. alone. no matter how many paths seems to travel the same road, eventually they divert and we find ourselves walking in the middle of that vast plain with not a soul in sight. some roads lead to higher ground and fresh air, some roads lead to seas of mystery, some roads lead to nothing but fog and cloud. the roads we walk aren't set there before us; the roads we walk are made by our steps and our souls. no one can set the course of your path, and no one can change anything on it but you. but to me, the terrifying thing is that on that road, you're the only person on it. and you know that no matter how close your paths may walk, you will eventually come to a crossroads and everyone will still leave the other. and when you turn back, to see the path you've created, all the memories and feelings which paved the way, the obstacles which were pushed off the road, the nakama who walked with you a distance, the blood and sweat and tears shed into carving this road.. and sometimes i ask if i was going down the road i want. i look at the ones who try to step off their paths, in their minds thinking that they had shortcuts aplenty, but losing their direction. i look at the ones running in front of me, racing with the wind as they reach that place. a spark ignites, but it's only a spark. what do i have to do to stir the embers up? i'm not sure myself.. which is why i'm looking for the answers on this road. even though i know not what lies ahead, even though there may be sorrow or heartache or despair, even though i may not have the will to reach that place, i know that my road is not the only one traversing this wide expanse. i know that right beside me are my nakama. i know that i can support them and cherish their presence. i know that.. but in the end, will i reach that place.. alone?

oh sheets. this is what happens when i flail around and become some irresponsible idiot. things go missing and it's my head on the block. D: looks like i'm going to have to cough up some compensation. *wails* Fables is gonna have to wait.. for now. addicts beware. >:D Drawing - looks like i'm going to enjoy it for at least a couple of weeks. *cackles* Animation - pretty easy, but tedious after a while. Storyboarding - i suck terribly at screensketching. how the hell do you screensketch Tom Cruise??! draw a stickman with a big fat T on his face? Typography - don't even talk about the letter models, those were hideous. but the rest.. i think i can i think i can! Digital Imaging - HUZZAH FOR PHOTOSHOP. illustrator can go drown itself. 3d - *jabs with pitchfork* and dear oh meh, there's still 3d Studio Max to learn. somebody make it EXTINCT, please.
