it's been 2 weeks since i came back from Beijing, and finally i have the chance to update this space. most people have already seen the photos on facebook/flickr though, so i don't think i'll need to post most of them. warning though, there are FOOD SHOTS in here. do not look at 1am in the morning. i won't be held responsible for stomach demands.  the sunrise on the way  beijing international airport! whoooo.  dundundundun. the forbidden city. dundundundun.  obligatory snap of the infamous great wall.  FEAST.  jump shot!  the shot of epic.  more FEAST.  the breakfast i have 4 days out of 7. turkish meat bunz.  BEEEEEF WHOOOOOOOO  FISH  LOBSTERS  Nigel's face rig is good.  Evelyn loves the fruit juice/milk here.  the drinks stall [same stall, different branch as above pic. don't ask me why they have 2 branches on campus. ] where the nice coffee girl works :]  the place where i get my turkish meat bun breakfast [3.5yuan!!!!]. i bet the lady hates me for always presenting her with big notes on most mornings :B  almost-group shot.  at the airport going home.. :[   so.. what can i say about this whole trip? there's just too much i can't express. it was not what i had expected, and in a good way. the food was good, the people were awesome, the weather was great, .. i don't know how to phrase how.. how.. how free i felt. no inhibitions, there was no need to feel judged by anyone or anything, no pressure.. i guess, i guess.. i have no regrets. it was a great feeling. |
