wasn't bad, kinda messy though, i couldn't really tell who was going down in all the chaos. but i guess like ym put it, we're all there for the cg eye candy 8D

on a previous note, i guess it's probably weird to be thanking people for talking to me, but i want to anyways. i think i'd have emaoed to crumbs without all my friends always being there for me and putting up with my rants. so whether it was out of curiosity or concern, thanks guys for all the phone calls and msn conversations and text messages, especially when i really needed them during periods of drama/politics in my life.
guess i'm that kinda person huh, being almost parasitically dependent on my friends for support and morale. should learn to stand on my own, i know. well after this particular episode i know i can't rely on people all the time. the real world will suck 65% of the time, so i just gotta deal with that.

okay okay irrational moment of emotional turbulence is well and over. :D

i heard there was gunna be no school next week whoopee! i wonder if the same goes for the JCs, cuz that way that way that way.. GIRLFRIENDS TIME 8D

first meal i had in Taiwan! fried carrot cake aha. but i'd soon discover that everything in Taiwan was just about fried, fried, and fried.

fried oyster pancake.. more starch than egg :C

minced meat rice. not bad.

Ximen, the Shibuya of Taiwan and also where our hotel was. yay.

Shilin Food Center. the place is asking to be burnt. and the stench of fermented beancurd was EVERYWHERE D8

cuttlefish balls. very very very good, and i'm not even a fan of cuttlefish D:

shishamo. also pretty damn good.

er more fried edibles. they prepare them the Shilin Street Snacks chicken way style, cut and seasoned.

okay i wouldn't be taking photos of all these if they weren't good 8D

i not-so-secretly think trains are the best form of public transport. not MRT trains, but long-distance trains like the Shinkansen. they're more comfortable than airplanes [with more legroom too!], quieter, and you get really lovely views. [not to mention the toilets are cleaner too eheh]

there's only one highway around these mountains and gorges, and prone to rockfalls. so we were all teetering on the edge of our seats and wondering whether we'd get crushed from above or crash to the bottom whenever the bus slid around a steep curve. seriously adrenaline-pumping man.

am feeling extremely stupid and ~~used~~ upset now.

going away for a week, hopefully when i get back i'll be up and ready to kick the shit out of some people. metaphorically or physically, you decide.

either that or just unload the dust in my eyes into as many buckets as i can, and just.. get a grip. or something. i don't know anymore. i don't think i can possibly do or say anything that can change anything that has happened.

i'm sorry, i know i'm the most indecisive person in the world and that probably annoys some people a lot. it's like saying hi i'm given so much opportunity and here i am thinking about stupid things on the side and hemming and hawwing and wasting everybody else's time.

i just don't know if i have the courage to go forth, overcome the challenges, and come back hopefully a better person. i guess i'm just looking for some form of reassurance that i'll be alright there, yes i know, i'm such a sheltered baby. :C

major update here, so bear with me. lots of food photos ahead, and i will therefore not be held responsible if you get hunger pangs while viewing these at 2am.

it was that restaurant's opening at Illuma, what's it called, Ebisboshi Shotengai? a couple weeks back. interior was nice, but the food is.. not worth the price.

another day, another place.
