i'm so active on Blogger today, go me!  some outtakes from SOY'C. lots of unfamiliar new faces. our booth is looking awesome as usual. 2 tables this time, we had a DS challenge thing - you could only play MarioKart against Zak and inevitably get trashed; we also had this sketch commish thing for the japan relief fund. that earned quite a bit for charity.  i kept forgetting to take photos of the commission sketches we did, but here's one.  Mel's Ghost Trick postcards.  Zak's MonHun postcards.  my Ghibli and STAR DRIVER prints. i was a bit worried as this was my first try at print sales, and i wasn't sure how the response would be. turned out okay in the end, so yey.  One Piece fanbadges. i would say the reaction was pretty good, but because of my own estimation failure, there wasn't enough badges for the more popular characters like Luffy and Ace and there were excess badges for other characters. like stupid Nami. cost price wasn't that low either, so not much gained either way. nice to see the glee and recognition on people when they see them though. hahaha. |
