cleaning out my hard disk when i stumbled upon my cache of photos, some from recent times, and some of the past. looking through the old pictures, looking at my old if the you of 2011 could say something to the you of 2007, what would it be? there are lots of things i would want to talk to her about - the future she will go through, the happiness she'll find, the people'll she meet, the sadness she'll receive. but more than anything, i would ask her to trust her gut feeling. to do what she feels was right at the time. to not be so stupid and naive. to be nicer to the people who really needed it. files deleted. |
