i hate it when people i love are fighting. the atmosphere just goes totally sour and you feel completely awkward and guilty even though you don't have anything to do with it. human beings are selfish people. we cannot ever be completely, genuinely selfless. we are hurt and in turn hurt others. we want to get close to each other, but in doing so receiving and inflicting pain is inevitable. the hedgehog theory. we have flawed personalities, personal issues, mistakes, skewed judgement.. we look uncool. the hard part is getting over that and accepting that that's part of being human, and accepting that about ourselves and others. we're all going to be hypocrites in some ways, so we shouldn't be so quick to judge others when we are guilty of the same thing. i hope they see that soon.. i hope we all can realize that and become better people. |
